We are the church choir of St Mary's Priory Church, Abergavenny  (the church is part of the Church in Wales, within the Anglican communion).  The choir consists of about eighteen children and sixteen adults, and has a commitment to leading the worship at the morning services week by week, as well as a number of occasional special services throughout the year.  The church dates back to mediaeval times, and contains many beautiful artefacts including the famous "Jesse Tree".

The choir rehearses on Friday evenings from 5.30 to 7.00 pm; our trebles (children) start at 5.30 and finish at 6.30, the adults join the fray at 6.00 and finish at 7.00.

Each year the choir undertakes a "Singing Week" tour, which in 2010 saw us sing services at Bath Abbey and Bristol Cathedral.  In 2011, we were invited to be "choir in residence" at St Alban's Cathedral for a week in July. In 2012 we are planning to spend two days making a new recording, followed by three days singing the servces at Gloucester Cathedral
